1.Where do you want to live? A place near school, home or bus/subway station?
Without a doubt, I would like to live near subway station. There are several reasons for it. First of all, it is easier for me to arrange my time. I am a well-organized person who will make plans for everything in advance. When I want to go to somewhere, the amount of time I need to spend on the way will be measurable, which is comforting for a punctual person like me. In addition, subway always arrives on time. You don’t need to waste time waiting for a cab for over half an hour. Last but not least, restaurants, cinemas as well as shopping malls are usually built along the subway, which means I can have access to various activities.
2.Choose ONE of the forms of the technology in the list and tells why it changes (has had great impact) people's lives in your country?

Personally, I think computers have the most important impact on people's lives in China .That mainly because it makes our study, work as well as the social life more convenient than before. Take the study for instance, I used to write all my papers by hands, and it'll take me at least two hours to finish just one paper and now with the computer, and with the Software like Office, Words and Excel, it's so easy for me to type all the materials and the content into the computer and send it to the professors by emails.
3.Police officers, transportation workers, building designers, which do you think is the most important to a city?
As far as I am concerned, I would probably say police officers are the most significant to a city. There are two reasons for it. First of all, police officers are trying their very best to protect people from getting harmed physically and financially. According to a survey, Chinese police officers are one of the best in the world. They are able to solve crime cases efficiently. In addition, people will feel safe to do things under the protection of police officers.There is no need for people to worry about being robbed when carrying much money with them. There is also no need for people to concern about being stolen when nobody is home.
4.Some countries now take measures to attract a large amount of foreign tourists for the tourism site. Discuss the advantage and disadvantage of attracting a large amount of foreign tourists in tourism site, give examples to illustrate your points.
In my view, attracting a host of foreign tourists to visit the tourism site is helpful to boost tourism and improve the local economy. Local people are able to increase their income and enhance their living standards. More visitors means more job opportunities and the unemployment issue will be tackled in this way. On the contrary, if there’re more foreign visitors, the primitive lifestyle of local residents might be influenced and even changed dramatically. For instance, some local people who used to make a living by agriculture or making traditional handicrafts may start to run a hotel or a restaurant so the local culture cannot be well preserved.
5.Talk about a way that helps you to relax. Explain why this helps you to relax.
Playing volleyball helps me to relax. First of all, it’s a way to let off steam by striking the ball vigorously. I can not only ease my mind after playing it but can also gain energy from doing sport. It really motivated me a lot. What’s more, I have opportunities to meet people who all have the same hobby, which is playing volleyball, and talk to them, get to know them. Making friends and talking to them is a way for me to relax myself. All in all, playing volleyball brings me a refreshed feeling.
