This bar chart depicts the sales of four types of video games worldwide between 2000 and 2006.
In terms of the sales of game A, it came with highest revenue and showed an obvious upward trend from 2000 to 2006. The sales figure started with 5 billion dollars in 2000 and surged to 8 billion dollars in 2006 albeit there was a slight drop in the year 2003.
Contrarily, regarding game B, it showed a downward trend in general, declining from 4 billion dollars to only 2.5 billion dollars during the same years, and in the last two reporting years, this figure remained un-changed.
With regards to game c and d, they both showed a similar upward trend, especially between 2002 and 2005 when the sales of game d accounted for half as much as that of game c. To be noticed, in the first two report-ing years, game d had not been sold on the market and in 2001, there was a minimal sales figure in game c with only 1 billion dollars. By 2006, the sales of games c and d caught up with that of game b with a total revenue worthy approximately 2.5 billion dollars.
In conclusion, it can be seen that type a, c and d games all showed an upward trend in the sales, whereas only game b experienced a market slump. (228)

Commuting long distances to work has always been a hassle to city people, particularly during peak hours at daytime. To re-duce the traffic time, replacing the space-occupying parks or gardens in the inner city with residential apartments offers a possible solution. However, personally, this bold idea still deserves more meticulous de-liberation on its true effectiveness in reducing the commuting troubles.
Undeniably, this effective apply of inner city space can pull people`s residence closer to the working place so as to reduce the road distance to work. This saves the waiting among crowds to take commuting tools as well as to reduce the traffic hours into the intensive road sec-tions which connect the workplace. Taking people who live in the suburban area in Beijing as an example, they normally spend hours on busy traffic to reach their companies located in the inner city zones which is a terrible start to a day`s work.
However, the dense inner city with clusters of residential buildings would also raise even more foreseeable traffic congestion which even-tually extend the commuting time the other way around. In addition, the removal of public regions like gardens and parks will eliminate the city greenery and limit the leisure spaces for public , resulting in an unattractive living environment.
In conclusion, considering the convenience brought to people living closer to workplace and the drawbacks coming along with the change of city environment, governments should give a considerate thought on the construction area size and maintain part of public space for the benefits of the local citizens. 261
