1. Is it important to have good manners?
Ofcourse, it’s very important. First of all, you only have seconds tomake a good impression. We meet thousands of people in our lives andmost meetings are brief and superficial, so not everyone is aspatient as your parents. A decent haircut, clean face and goodmanners will be noticed and have a significant effect on your life.Secondly, as the writer of “the game of throne” puts it,courtesies are women’s best weapons. Even if you have donesomething wrong, if you appear gracious and grateful, much will beforgiven, just like Sansa in the TV series, although her father andbrother are regarded as traitors, she never forget her manners and isspared by her enemies. So having good manners is important, and insome cases it can help you enormously.
2. When you have a lot of assignments and projects to do, what approach would you use in order to finish them in time?
Ithink the most important question is how to prioritize, which meanshow to perfectly organize your assignments and projects in a timeframe, from the most urgent to the least urgent. So first of all, youneed to stay organized and know the timeline and deadline of eachassignment and project. Each assignment should be laid out intosmall, manageable tasks. Secondly, you need to divide your time intodifferent slots and then assign the tasks to them. You may also needto limit your leisure time activities and adjust to a new daily andweekend routine. After a solid timetable is created, all you need todo is to keep it.
3. Describe a memorable experience in a restaurant or cafe.
I’dlike to talk about my experience in a well-known restaurant in mycity which is named the Grandma’s. A fortnight ago, I ate out withmy friends there and the service was impeccable. The waiters andwaitresses who wore a friendly smile all the time were so hospitableand helpful that a great number of customers were attracted to eatout there. In addition, the food they served was mainly Chinesetraditional dishes which were not only mouth-watering but alsonutritious. Better still, the price was moderate while the potion wasextremely big. So I pretty enjoy the time eating there.
4. Describe a present you have given to others. Explain why you think it is important.
Thepresent I’d like to describe is a book about keeping a healthylife, which I sent to my mum as a birthday gift. It’s significantfor a couple of reason. For one thing, the book may help my mumimprove her health condition by giving some useful suggestions on herdiet. It contains the introduction of various food and theirnutrients. Also the book shows how to develop a healthy diet in anaccessible way. Moreover, the part about regular excises bringsbenefits to my mum’s health as well. The book recommends somesimple excises that are not physical demanding but effective, so it’sa wonder gift for my mum.
